It's the 1932 Rockefeller lunch break, but Horus is eating a sandwich and Anubis looks like he'd rather be anywhere else. This watercolor riffs on one of the most recognizable images in modern iconography and plants Egypt's gods right in the middle of it. The composition is confident, the color is warm and strange, and the joke lands without needing to explain itself. That's the whole trick.
