There's a banquet happening that you weren't invited to, and that's the point. Ancient Egypt, skeletal guests in ceremony dress, and a golden pharaoh presiding over a table still set with flowers and offerings. It references the great supper painting tradition and then strips it of its flesh. The dark comedy isn't accidental. This is art that knows exactly what it's doing.
